    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Best Buy (Minneapolis, MN).

    Interview

There was an initial phone screen and then a first round interview by phone. The process was fast, and the second round interview was in the office with two interviewers. The interviewers were very rude and condescending. I left the interview thinking the place was full of jerks and I don't shop at best buy anymore. It was very difficult to make simple conversation with them, and when I made positive statements they were met with passive aggressive put-downs. I found the interview to be not only a waste of time, but also very unprofessional. I don't recommend working at Best Buy. You may like the people in Best Buy retail, but the corporate HQ is terrible. AVOID.
