I have been working at Best Western full-time (More than 5 years)
Overall, the organization is like a family. People genuinely care about the work they do and want to add value. When something goes wrong, people work together to fix it instead of placing blame. We have a very competitive 401K program and increasingly more flexible with work schedule and work location. Our leadership team demonstrates that they do care about the work environment, as our feedback is turned into action. In my role, I am given the freedom to make decisions and partner with others. Our leadership team continues to focus on evolving the culture - with a goal of us all working on the RIGHT things that add the most value. This is good for the organization - but good for employees to feel like their work matters. BW also does a lot of internal promotions when possible vs looking external.
Traditionally the organization has been risk-adverse which can inhibit people from being innovative. But, the leadership team is focusing on this as well.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Best Western (Phoenix, AZ) in February 2018.
I applied for Agile Project Manager (CTH position) through recruiting agent. The whole process took less than 2 weeks. I had phone and F2F interview (in Phoenix HQ) within a week.
