If you work hard, and I do mean hard, you will make a lot of money.
Management in some markets limit income potential by micro managing.
Inside sales sets appointments sometimes hours away and gets half the commission.
CPI brand not as recognized in some markets.
Redundant training/meetings interfere with field time/making money, these are mandatory and you're not getting paid for them.
Management not promoted from within near as much as outside employees hired.
Advice to Management
You have a great product, do less micro-managing and role-playing and let the sales team do their job. There's no such thing as a team when you're 100% commission.

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at CPI Security Systems (Knoxville, TN) in March 2018.
From the start the company was dishonest. The job was advertised as a sales manager position with a standard salary. I show up to the interview and it becomes a sales pitch to get me to become a door to door salesman with no salary and only commission. I said to the interviewer that I had applied for the sales manager position and they replied with "huh" and it was not acknowledged further. When I told them it would be irresponsible for me to leave a salaried position for 100% commission they just repeatedly tried to say "but you could make so much money here by 6 months!" I have bills to pay between now and then. Dishonest hiring practices are indicative of a very dishonest company. I would never work for one that lists fake job postings.
