I have been working at Carbon Black full-time (More than 3 years)
Been here for 3 years and the company has seen lots of change, which isn't surprising considering how fast we're growing. Leadership here is dedicated to identifying problems and fixing them as we grow fast and build lots of new exciting stuff. It's a great place to be, people are valued, and there's tons of opportunity
As we grow, people tend to feel less empowered than they used to, but the truth I really believe that's up to each individual.
Advice to Management
keep paying attention to the people like you do, and all good things will follow
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Carbon Black (Waltham, MA) in October 2015.
It starts with an initial phone screen that is more logistics and a little behavioral. If the HR person likes you they'll invite you to an onsite interview. The onsite interview consists of meeting with four people and 2 were technical, 1 was behavioral, and 1 was a mix of behavioral and technical. Overall, everyone is extremely friendly and they care a lot about culture fit and technical skills.
