    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Chatham Partners (Waltham, MA) in March 2018.

    Interview

Initial 30 minute interview at the campus career center with a Senior Analyst. A few weeks later I was asked to visit the Waltham office for an in person interview. The in person interview was 3 rounds over about 2 hours. First with two Research Analysts, then a VP, and lastly an AVP.

The interview was pretty easy. I was told they would be in touch with me in maybe 3 weeks (which is already a while to wait for a final decision). That was about two months ago and I have heard nothing - I assume that means I didn't get the job. A friend who also interviewed told me he called about a month later and said they still didn't have decisions a month after the fact because they weren't finished with interviews.

This is not a big company, so they either need to get their act together or interview students from fewer colleges to speed up the process. If you are going to make someone drive down for an interview and not even comp for gas at have the courtesy to be honest about the time frame and tell people if they are no longer being considered. Based on my experience, you are better off skipping this interview and looking elsewhere.
