Chenega Corporation Springfield, VA isn't hiring right now. Check out all Chenega Corporation jobs
I worked at Chenega Corporation full-time (More than 3 years)
I was lucky enough to work for a manager who provided ample opportunities to employees who were hard working and dedicated. The pay was comparable to other positions in the area.
The vacation policy for hourly employees is atrocious. You don't get vacation until after a year working with a company. No sick leave, at all.
There is a perception of a "boys club" within the company if you aren't in the right "clique."
The corporate/HR side of the company provided virtually no support to the contract. Responses were slow, turnover rates were high, and it put unnecessary strain on management.
Advice to Management
Stay out of the gossip circles and continue to reward employees for hard work. Take a close look at people in the cliques and do your best to evaluate their performance with unbiased eyes. The perception of unfair treatment among employees will be the reason good people leave.

I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Chenega Corporation (Springfield, VA) in October 2015.
Chenega Corp came on to take on previous employees on the contract (Wolverine Services, LLC) as a good gesture from the government. They asked very basic questions but honestly don't seem to know what's going on in the logistical world. They had us meet with the project manager, HR team, security team all on the same day.
