I worked at Children’s Home Society of Florida full-time (Less than a year)
There are few pros but hours are flexible and salary is competitive for the field. Other case managers are supportive and always willing to help you out. If you can work quickly and are willing to work evenings then this will work for you.
Organization is difficult to work for as ethically they often ask you to do things that are not safe for children to help them meet numbers for their contract. Only a few supervisors are supportive, most are not and upper management does not understand the work load requirements. Hours are flexible but often there is more to accomplish which can make this difficult. Most work occurs in the evenings.
Advice to Management
Decrease case load sizes and increase mileage compensation

I applied online. I interviewed at Children’s Home Society of Florida (Tampa, FL).
I was called in for an interview with the executive director of my division and the person who would be my direct supervisor. They ask almost all situational questions and ask you to pull from a specific experience you have had in the past.
