I have been working at Continental full-time (More than 10 years)
Company values, freedom to act
complicated process, very diplomatical, old shool style
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Continental (Lindau (Bodensee) (Germany)) in August 2015.
First: telephone discussions. After that a scheduled interview with HR and afterwards via phone with the technical leader. Another interview with the Team Leader via CISCO. Offer received cca. after 1 month from the start of the process.
I declined the offer because I received a huge salary increase in the project I was working at that time (freelancing). Advice: do not reject the offer because in the future you may be rejected if you apply for the same position or in the same location! I made a mistake which costs me in the present.
It was nicely organized (despite the fact that the technical interview was done afterwards by phone). The travel expenses were paid afterwards. Interview feeling: nice people, nice location, everything worked like things work in Conti: smooth and according to plan.
