    Pros

Loved working for DHG! The partners really care about their staff and unlike many firms, they actually want their employees to have a life outside of the office.

    Cons

Sometimes there was a lack of communication, but it would usually be cleared up pretty quickly.

    Application

I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at DHG (Fort Worth, TX) in June 2015.

    Interview

I got an interview from an online career fair that I unexpectedly found while looking through assignments on my school's blackboard. I spoke with who I thought was a recruiter for the firm, but later found out that it was a partner. He invited me to the office for an interview, and I spoke with a partner, and 2 managers. The interview with the partner and assurance manager was a lot more conversational rather than a typical behavioral interview. They seemed like they were already going to give me the offer before the interview, and just wanted to see what my personality was like now during the interview. The interview with the senior tax manager was a little more tense since he asked me a couple of behavioral questions and questions about my resume, but I think I handled it pretty well. Most of the time during the 3 interviews, I was the one who was always speaking and sharing stories about my life and my future goals. It was a great experience.
