I have been working at DHG full-time (More than a year)
The culture here is amazing! From peers through the different levels of management, everyone I've met is incredibly friendly and down to earth. Management is very supportive of your goals and really listens to ensure your needs are met and that you are able to grow as an individual. The work is challenging and never boring. DHG works across several industries and does a huge variety of different audit and consulting work; you learn something new all the time!
Some federal holidays aren't observed, and you have to pay for parking.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at DHG (Richmond, VA) in October 2012.
Spoke to recruiter at college accounting firms career fair. Applied online through company website, invited for on-campus interview promptly. Met with office managing partner on-campus, then was invited to office for second-round interviews. Good interview process - met with audit manager, audit supervisor, tax senior manager, and audit partner. Very conversational and non-threatening experience. Included an office tour. I felt like I got an accurate picture of the company by talking to employees from different staff levels and departments. Heard back from recruiter promptly with offer for summer internship. Interviewers returned my follow-up emails promptly and were very friendly and polite.
