    Pros

Excellent company with down to earth employees. The benefits and compensation are great for an entry level sales position, and the company offers good advancement opportunities.

    Cons

The BDR position relies heavily on cold calling and cold outreach on linkedin. If you're serious about sales and don't mind the grind then it's fine, but it's not really for everyone.

    Cyber Technology Specialist Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Reston, VA

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Darktrace (Reston, VA).

    Interview

Had an initial interview as set up by my recruiter. The interviewer did not have great interviewing skills and had the personality of a potato, which unfortunately meant I was unable to carry on a conversation without me being the only one speaking. The one sidedness of the interview very negatively impacted me receiving a follow up interview. I was notified upon following up (three times) the next week that they chose a “better candidate.” ALL questions were listed at the beginning of the interview and I was expected to answer in a single paragraph to a series of questions rather than having a conversation.
