    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Deluxe Corporation (Charlotte, NC) in December 2018.

    Interview

I interviewed for the Data Entry position in Charlotte, NC with who I believed to be the manager before the holidays. I thought the interview went well because I was offered the position and given my expected schedule. I was told by the manager that since it was the holidays, it would take about 2-3 weeks to get me in which would be about the middle of January. I waited the 2 weeks and tried to contact them on multiple occasions with no response and we are now in February.

I feel if you are not going to move forward with someone, you should make that known and do not lie to them. You make yourself and the company look bad.

In the end, I did not feel bad about the situation because they are missing out on one hell of an employee.

I see everything that happened as a blessing because if it were not for the manager lying to me about bringing me on board, I would not have interviewed with and received an offer (FOR REAL) from a better company making more money.

    Everything happens for a reason.
