I worked at First American full-time (More than a year)
Even though I was laid off by this employer, they were very generous from beginning to end. The salary was extremely competitive for this area, the management allowed for a great work/life balance, they gave several months notice of the layoff, and they were very accommodating and supportive when I needed to interview for new jobs.
The laid back management was great for someone who was self-motivated, but there was mostly clerical-level staff that needed better oversight and accountability. Training was a bit frustrating.
Advice to Management
Perhaps the layoff of the many good employees could have been avoided with some management changes at the very top.
