I have been working at GE Power as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great overall company with an amazing culture to work for. Interns are given meaningful assignments that allow you to work on your own and check in with your manager every few days.

    Cons

Work life balance is hard because since it is only 12 weeks, you have to complete everything. My project is way bigger than 12 weeks, but I am doing the best to complete it!

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at GE Power (Minnetonka, MN).

    Interview

It was a fairly straightforward interview process. An initial phone call was done to ask some personality and what-would-you-do in these situation questions. This was followed up with a trip to interview with five different members of the department to ask technical, personality, and HR type questions.

    Interview Questions

    • One portion of the interview was to look at a flow diagram and explain the process.   Answer Question
