Advice to Management
To make others aware when they are pulling people to work in a different area that may need more help So this way we don't look back or across to find that we are the only one left in that area or that no one is left to handle the flow of work that is left to be done or not to be made, aware 9f the pull so others can step in. This would help so the work to be done can still flow effectively. Also production is key but if the processes aren't done correctly and employees are cutting corners by folding invoices, not counting the items before they hit Pack OK then are these numbers truly their success or a bit of weakness in which they should work on these issues. So they may truly be their Success as well as Management. If your going to do it. Do it right or don't do it. Gap set these guidelines for a reason. If they cut corners would they be this successful now??

I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Gap (Fresno, CA) in April 2009.
Be honest, give examples of situations you have delt with at other jobs. For example- dealing with difficult people, working to get a order/project done with little time remaining, how you handled long hours, how you are motivated... everything that says who you are going to be when working in the warehouse. Basically everyone doing the hiring is looking for someone that works well in a team, is aware of safety issues, works at a consistent pace and never calls in sick (if you need a day off then pre-plan it ahead of time with your supervisor).calling in sick is for sure a fatal move.
Attendance is basically #1, then safety, work speed and accuracy.
Also.... dont be a complainer, anyone can complain all day.... you want to be the one who presents solutions to the issues the complainers keep whining about (they are never happy anyways)
