-from engineering side, technology is also up to date
-get a lot of chance to work on what you wish
-safety training and attitude towards safety is commendable
-dull environment, everyone sits between dividers
-no overtime work allowed unless it is approved by plant management or even higher now
-dealing with the union is definitely not the best of experiences
-living in St. Catharines is not fun unless you know people there
-sometimes bosses don't appreciate what you have done as much you think (or don't give you the feedback you think you deserve - as an intern anyway)

I applied through college or university. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at General Motors (GM) (Saint Catharines, ON (Canada)) in July 2018.
I was contacted by the head office in Oshawa via email that I have been selected for an interview. There were some details that needed to be updated in their online system first which led to the interview after.
