    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at George Washington University (Arlington, VA) in April 2014.

    Interview

I was contacted for a phone interview about one week after submitting the application. I was not contacted by HR, but instead set up the interview by e-mail with the head of the search committee. This person was the person who ended up interviewing me. I was selected for a second interview (which would take place on campus), but chose not to move forward in the process after learning the anticipated salary for the position during the phone interview.

    Interview Questions

    • I was asked many questions about my current position in terms of my current duties and responsibilities. I was also asked how I ended up in the field of higher education, why I was interested in the position, and why I was seeking to leave my current position.   Answer Question
