    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Grab (Makati City (Philippines)) in May 2019.

    Interview

The interview consists of an HR interview and three panel interviews by the Optimization team. Each interview takes about an hour.
The three panel interviews will heavily challenge your creativity and analytical/problem-solving skills. You really have to think outside the box in order to get by the interviews
The HR interview was focused on your personality and behavior.

    Interview Questions

    • Many of the questions in the panel interviews are related to the exam so be sure to study the exam well before going in the interviews. Occasionally, they will also ask typical interview questions like "tell me more about yourself", "what are your greatest strengths/weaknesses", "what makes you unique", etc. but majority of the the time they are focused on challenging your creativity and analytical skills as they want to determine if you are fit for the role.

The HR interview was easier as compared to the panel interviews since this is just about getting to know you more. Expect typical questions like "tell me more about your previous job/s", "what is your greatest achievement/biggest failure", etc.   Answer Question
