Employees rate Fort Lauderdale 34.2% higher than the overall average
I have been working at Grant Thornton as an intern (Less than a year)
Every one here was really great and open to you being a potential coworker and friend. The training was good and the equipment given was also good. Overall for me it was the great group of people that stuck out.
If you were not up to dat eon excel you were going to sink. The salary was lower than competitors and did not offer a progressive move-up structure. It felt that you needed to pay all of your "dues" before you were considered for advancing, yet, these rules did not appear to apply to everyone.
Advice to Management
try to be more clear when hiring, but dont be afraid to tell the operas there is room for growth. The company maintained a very safeguarded position when negotiating.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Grant Thornton (Fort Lauderdale, FL) in October 2012.
The office, people and culture seemed awesome right from the beginning. I have had an on-campus interview, followed by an interview at their office which was an all day process.
