Employees rate Portland 34.2% higher than the overall average
I have been working at Grant Thornton as an intern (Less than a year)
The office is very enjoyable to work in. The atmosphere is laid back, but also professional. The work is challenging, and very difficult at times, but it is also rewarding.
The office is a little on the small side because we are currently building our market penetration in the metro area.
Advice to Management
Management is on the right path to growing the office. As time passes I see more resources being invested and growth continuing.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Grant Thornton (Portland, OR) in December 2011.
Phone interview, in person interview, and group web cam interview. I was contacted by a recruiter, then placed on a phone interview which went well. Then I did a group web cam meeting in the office, followed up with a one on one meeting with the office manager.
