    Application

I applied online. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at HOK (Houston, TX) in August 2015.

    Interview

I applied online via the website. They took a month to invite me for interview. I was interviewed by 3 Architects. At the interview I was told they will get back to me within a week. 2 months later after several emails, I was told they would not give me an offer. I was disappointed as this was sent as an automatic response email. I asked for feedback as I was surprised to not get the job. I was told that their needs changed but they would keep my info on file if something comes up. Strange as I thought the second email should have come first.

When trying to get a response, I had also been contacting my interviewers instead of HR. I suspect that it's company policy for architects not to respond to interviewees.

    Interview Questions

    • Walk me through your portfolio. Tell me about your project. Why do you want to be at HOK? Are you sure you want to be in Houston? It was a fairly casual interview. More like a conversation.   1 Answer
