I have been working at Harris full-time (More than 8 years)
Great company with great technology and a lot of passionate committed people. Harris acquisition came very close to wrecking a good thing. Management finally recognized the issues and restructured the company to get better focus on customer service. Despite some negative impact from the Harris integration, CapRock is still the place to work in this industry.
By and large the company is filled with passionate and committed employees. But there are alot of whiners and pre-Madonnas - especially in Houston. Many of the nay-sayers left during recent lay-offs. But there are still quite a few. These people need to deal with change and be a part of the solution and stop all the complaining. Otherwise go somewhere else. The rest of us want to be team players.
Advice to Management
Get Harris corporate out of the way! Their excessive scrutiny and "non-negotiable" mandates for ineffective ITsystems and cost cutting interferes with CapRock's ability to serve customers. Harris needs to learn that customer service has to come first - not cost cutting and the stock price.

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Harris (Houston, TX) in September 2018.
I interviewed with Harris at a conference. I met and talked with a software engineer and a manager at the conference. They then invited me to their Super Day in Florida and described some of their benefits.
