    Revenue Management Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in New York, NY
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Difficult Interview

    Application

The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Hertz (New York, NY).

    Interview

The recruiter was nice but she took a couple weeks to get back with me after an initial phone interview.

Once I got an in person interview I had 2 interview sessions. During the 2nd session, I was asked "what would you do if you owned a ski resort but there was no snow. What would you do?" This question came out of the blue and had no preface. After struggling and asking for more information on what they were looking for, one if the employees gave a little more of a background on what the person asking the question was looking for.

They were just looking for how I could be creative and come up with a way to turn a bad situation into something good.

Overall, I could have done better, however the interviewing teams were very disorganized (appeared to be) and were not prepared. I did not even get any kind of communication saying they were pursuing other candidates or anything.

Someone was hired and 1 month later the position became open again and was filled 6 months later.
