HomeAway Madrid (Spain) isn't hiring right now. Check out all HomeAway jobs
I have been working at HomeAway full-time (More than a year)
Great atmosphere with the team. Modern offices.
Almost no real chance at getting a promotion. Salary could be better for a big company like this. Poor work-family life balance conditions. Very short breaks for time spent in front of 3 screens. Attempt at improving working conditions blocked by HR. No union representation in Madrid. Childish management at times (a lot of office behaviour rules).
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at HomeAway (Madrid (Spain)) in March 2018.
It took more than 6 weeks to just have just a phone interview after trying to schedule this evry first call. They didn't give a proper feed back after I was assured to be called again the next week.
The call was no more than 20 minutes where they explain who they are, the industry they work for and an English level chat to check you can manage in this language. I explain a little bit my background.
