I have been working at Imperial Tobacco Canada full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Imperial Tobacco Canada (BAT) has some of the most intensive development and career programs I have seen in any FMCG company and this is supported by great people management. Their desire to promote from within is second to none and the wide range of skills that is gained through all levels of the organisation is wide and varied. It is a super fast paced industry and one that is in an exciting phase as they launch potentially reduced harm products.

    Cons

Less of a con but as a fact of honestly this company is very fast paced and lends its self to those whom want to stretch themselves in their professional career.

    Advice to Management

Keep the focus on the people as this is having an incredible impact.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Imperial Tobacco Canada (Vancouver, BC (Canada)) in July 2015.

    Interview

In the first step, I have uploaded my resume into the website under the title of job post. Then, I passed an online assessment in 3 different steps; after passing each test, I received a new email thanking me and another email to link me to the next test. After one day, someone called me from Toronto inviting me for a phone interview. She suggested a day after at 8 AM (pacific time). It was a short notice and I should got more preparation opportunity. But the interview questions were structured and I didn't find any tricky question there. Next step was supposed to be a 1:1 interview in Vancouver, but I did not pass the phone interview.
