I have been working at Imperva full-time (Less than a year)
Tons of autonomy to decide how to manage your daily activities. Management is very personable and laidback. We have really strong technical resources and a very robust product line. Imperva really tires to make things fun and take care of their employees. Good benefits, flexible PTO and seems to pay well in a number of different positions.
Systems and processes really need to be improved. Communication throughout the company is also very broken. The company is very divided which causes a huge disconnect between divisions. The compensation plan is also very confusing for anyone that has a quota. The Channel strategy has significant room for improvement and needs funding to do so.
Advice to Management
Clear transparent communication on all matters needs to shared simultaneously throughout the entire company for every change in order for us to row the boat in the same direction. Simplify the comp plan.

I applied online. I interviewed at Imperva (Dallas, TX) in April 2021.
First was email from recruiter with some generic questions, then follow up call with recruiter again. Then next was interview with hiring manager mostly behavioral questions, manager was very nice and friendly.Next step was technical interview with two people, very technical questions mainly networking and security questions. They were very nice too but did not get a good feedback if my answers were what they were expecting. unfortunately did got a call back from recruiter that they wouldn't move forward with me which I was disappointing to hear but understandable. Overall was a great experience and really wished I was hired.
