    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Imperva full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Has always had really good technology. Last year's changes in leadership seem to have finally put the right people and vision in charge to take the company to the next level

    Cons

Has had noticeable reduction in benefits since Thoma Bravo acquired the company. Not that they are bad now, but they used to be a big reason to work here.

    Advice to Management

You're making a lot of the right decisions lately. Don't be afraid of investment! Also, consider aligning closer with industry standards on some things.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Imperva (Plano, TX) in March 2021.

    Interview

Applied online for the SOC analyst position. Got an email and call about a month after I applied by HR. HR was quick and responsive in getting the technical interview process going. I rate this experience negative because I got interviewed for the Cloud Security Engineer, which is a better position, but knowing myself, I wasn't ready at that level. They give you questions ahead of time to think and prepare to answer, but this process wasn't fair as I wasn't interviewed for the SOC analyst position as I felt that would lean towards my previous experience.
