Kellogg Company Louisville, KY isn't hiring right now. Check out all Kellogg Company jobs
I worked at Kellogg Company full-time (Less than a year)
Skilled trades pay was good for the area.
Electricians actually did electrical and PLC work. Mechanics did mechanical work. Instead of being hired in as an electrician then doing 80% mechanical or vice versa.
The way it's supposed to be!
Very poor top management. Made promises to workers and didn't follow through after the workers did their part.
Advice to Management
Be credible, production works hard and doesn't like being deceived with false incentives and out right lied to by their superiors.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kellogg Company (Louisville, KY) in October 2011.
Was contacted by a Kellogg's recruiter for the interview. He gave a lot of advice, much of it helpful, and links to websites for research. I had to put together a powerpoint presentation for the interview. My interview took place in the afternoon, and I was specifically told that they were trying to save money on hotel rooms, so I flew out in the morning, then did the interview in the afternoon. The interview itself was supposed to be around 2:30 pm, then the HR assistant came out and told me that it was going to be delayed, so I changed my flight, then they changed their mind again. And initially they were not going to give me a plant tour, but I insisted on one, since I had changed my flight for them.
Negotiated a slightly higher salary, and more vacation time. As for advice, absolutely, positively get anything they tell you in writing. I was given a verbal offer of first shift, and foolishly did not get it in writing. I arrived to start my job to find that they had hired someone after me and given him first shift because he was local while I had to move.
