I have been working at Leidos full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Working at Leidos is all about what program you are in and who your program manager is. Some are good, some are terrible, and most are just vacant. The ones who aren't there are usually be the best because they don't get in the way.

    Cons

A lot of the corporate benefit are dependent on whether or not your program manager will support you. The pay is the same you'll get from any government contractor, so don't feel any loyalty and jump jobs if you aren't making what you should.

    Advice to Management

Hire better program managers. Most are just contract writers with government connections. That's not the person who should be managing people.

    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Leidos (Leesburg, VA) in February 2014.

    Interview

Two calls, one on-site, background check, and references check. The trick to these is to know more than the Program Manager you're interviewing with. Chances are, they are contractor writer with government ties. So be knowledge about the industry and show how you help grow the program.
