I worked at Life Time full-time (Less than a year)
Supervisors were very supportive, cared about health of workers.
Uneven workload between counselors is common.

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Life Time (Berkeley Heights, NJ) in March 2014.
Hundreds of people apply during the spring-time for this summer job. You are usually only chosen to do an in-person interview if you know someone who works there, have a recommendation from someone, or apply with a cover letter, strong resume, and reasons why you'd be a good fit to the company. The in-person interview is relatively short, mostly conversation rather than question-and-answers. Usually follows up with a group email of whom is hired so you can see the other people also hired, which I found strange.
