    Pros

You cannot beat the free membership. Get to know some significant people. If you are a people person, you will enjoy this job.

    Cons

    Members first - employees last.
The member is always right unless they are not members.
Have to dress to the level you work at. Made $10 but had to wear a shirt and tie every shift.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees better, maybe free smoothies once in a while or have casual weekends.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Life Time (Minnetonka, MN) in September 2017.

    Interview

Online app, phone discussion with manager, in-person manager meeting, then GM meeting. A few weeks of training were also required. Schedule availability and dependability was the most important topic of discussion.

    Interview Questions

    • GM question was a red flag - "Do you have a weekend cabin or anything? I don't want to hire you and find out that you won't be available to work weekends because you never get to use your cabin."   1 Answer
