I have been working at Lucid Software full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The people at Lucid are ambitious, kind, and team focused. As new people join Lucid I often hear them say how impressed they are with the caliber of people that work at Lucid. It is deep in the culture to be happy, work hard, and to help others when they ask for it. Because of that I've never been given the cold shoulder when I ask executives, managers, or individual contributors for help. They are always willing to put down what they are doing to help me.

    Cons

The salary isn't the highest compared to most other tech companies out there.

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lucid Software (Sandy, UT) in August 2016.

    Interview

An hour to code three programming questions to vet out those who are not up to their standards. I imagine a behavioral interview would come after, but I didn't make it that far

    Interview Questions

    • They had me parse a string, I can't remember the second question, and then program a game of othello in the command line. (Google Othello if you don't know what that is). They had the Othello board set up in a couple of classes, I just had to fill in the logic   Answer Question
