I worked at March of Dimes full-time (More than 3 years)
I had the privilege of working with a great team. I was constantly challenged and I learned a lot from my colleagues. My position was dynamic and busy and gave me the opportunity to be involved in many different aspects of the work being done.
I didn't feel well supported by the organization itself. If I had been in an office with less supportive colleagues I think I would have struggled a lot. Even with a strong, collaborative team it almost always felt like we were short staffed and under resourced. Also, during my three years there were constant changes as the organization went through multiple reorganizations. The changes were necessary but working through them was challenging. It seemed to me that things were starting to look up when I left and I hope a stronger, more supportive work environment is in the works.
