I worked at Mercer full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Canadian Leadership ( HR ) is tremendously engaged and supportive,

    Cons

Very Centralised mentality, American dictatorship style, US suppliers, Service-Now, Shared Services, and how all of their Global decision have negative impacts for some of our the distinct regions.

    Advice to Management

Keep reminding the US that Global means Global NOT Corp America or Not NYC

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mercer (Montreal, QC (Canada)).

    Interview

The first step was a phone interview. Questions were mostly about fit (why Mercer, why consulting) and about elements of my CV.
Second interview was in person with 2 employees from the firm. I was asked to talk about myself, and then they read me different situations that could occur in the day-to-day and asked how I would react. This session was followed by a basic test on Excel.
Third interview was with a director and partner. Then when over my CV again and the goal was to make sure I understood the nature of the job.
