    Pros

The people are great but the hours are tough. It will set you for a great career in the industry. Requires a lot of commitment, but there's opportunities for those that work hard.

    Cons

Can be beaurocratic as any investment bank. Processes are lengthy and very formalised. Timing can be a challenge as most decision makers sit off shore.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley (Sydney (Australia)).

    Interview

    Applied for IDB Summer Analyst
Networked with HR and analysts prior to applying.
Completed online application and then 2 interviews for first round (2 interviewers in each).
One of the interviewers used a lot of technical terminology/abbreviations which made it difficult to follow. Same interviewer also probed each answer which made me doubt my answers
