I have been working at N26 full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Very nice vibes
    - Amazing people and very good professionals
    - Free meals on Wed
    - Snacks, drinks and fresh fruit in the office
    - Nice offices
    - Private health insurance
    - Beer & Pizza on Fridays
    - Monthly team budget
    - Career plan
    - Development budget

    Cons

    - No remote working policy
    - I think the company needs more organisation, better management.
    - The people team is not reachable at all. A lot of bureaucracy when it concerns to any question you might have for them.

    Advice to Management

I think that the people team needs to be reviewed. They have no good practices to employees, very rude and there is no way to scale it up. They think they build such a good culture but actually all the good culture in BCN office is due to the amount of nice people around, they did NOTHING to help. I’m excluding recruiters and office managers here.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took a week. I interviewed at N26 (Barcelona (Spain)) in July 2020.

    Interview

They claim to be people oriented, but denied me an offer for not knowing the specific way to implement some solutions exactly like they expected. Don't fall for that, it's a very traditional technical interview.

    Interview Questions

    • Stuff about React, Node and a bit about information security for browsers. All trivia like questions fetched from the internet. Clearly the junior developer that askedthe questions wasn't really prepared for interviewing people with above seniority, hence using trivia like questions.   Answer Question
