I have been working at NTT DATA as a contractor (Less than a year)
I feel it's a new type of opportunity in our area. Every new operation experiences challenges and needs to reSync as scope changes. This offers employees a chance to watch a project take shape and evolve throughout the process, and on to completion. Being a member of NTT's team-based project gives a new perspective to the term "contract employee" and provides exceptional exposure to different business models. It has been a beneficial learning experience so far. Management does a good job of keeping employees informed.
Sometimes frustrating when procedures change daily, even though expected with start-up and during project work. Uncertainty in job stability when contracts are on short term re-evaluation. There is always the possibility a position can terminate even though the employee was hired "long-term".
Advice to Management
Ensure recruiters are all well informed on the nature of the contract they are hiring people for so candidates understand the terms they are accepting. This has been the main complaint expressed. Continue with town halls and transparency

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at NTT DATA (Louisville, KY).
I applied for the ad, got a call the very next day from the recruiter and they scheduled the interview. They were pleasant, and it was an informal comfortable process. Interview lasted about 20 minutes, atmosphere was nice.
