    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4+ months. I interviewed at Netflix (Hollywood, CA) in January 2018.

    Interview

The process took more 4 months and I had 14 interviews, was the finalist to hear that I was not getting the role because the other candidate and I did not have the same panel and that her panel had pushed harder for her... Akward explanation, really no justification other than this one but at least they called and were respectful in that way. I was crushed as I really loved the company and the team I had talked to.
Otherwise during the process they would always answer quickly with next steps and treated me very well onsite.
My only advice would be: please don't raise candidates expectations, you do not need 14 interviews to know you will not pick someone. It is cruel for candidates.

    Interview Questions

    • In 14 interviews believe me I got plenty: competition, my vision of Netflix for the future, what I would bring to the table. I also interviewed in other languages (French, Spanish) as it as was an international role.   Answer Question
