I have been working at Omnitracs full-time (Less than a year)
The new leadership is very customer-centric. A plan is in place and being executed to converge legacy technology to better serve the customer while becoming more efficient in responding to customer needs.
Historic silos exist but that issue is being address and will take time. There is a divide between those building the new technology and those supporting the legacy tech, though all are necessary for success. New agile approach being adopted to address this issue.
Advice to Management
Continue to execute against your plan, shift when needed and continue to communicate your vision with employees.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Omnitracs (Dallas, TX) in August 2015.
Interesting screening questions of general vocabulary and logic multiple choice. I worked with Raj Patel from the HR department who was incredibly helpful throughout the process and shows a strong willingness to be personalize his communication. Stumbled a bit on the Technical interview where they wanted in-depth knowledge of low-level programming and white-board type questions verbally through the phone.
