I worked at Overstock.com as an intern (Less than a year)
An autonomous culture that allows for personal growth and an ownership mindset. Was given the opportunity to own my project, run with it, and see success. Great team and support from my manager. My coworkers were collaborative and supportive. My manager took the time to get to know me and help develop my career. It seems like there are long-term opportunities to grow, gain new experiences, and move around in the organization as desired.
The internship program was excellent, but was in its first year. This isn't really a con, as it was incredible; there are, however, planned updates to the program that should enhance the experience even more.
I applied online. I interviewed at Overstock.com (Midvale, UT) in November 2016.
Multiple interviews were done. First one was with the recruiter, then one with the department team supervisors/managers and last one was with the main department manager. Getting through the online application filter program is the hardest though. It did take a long time to get through the whole interview process, which is normal with the Tech industry.
