I have been working at Pivotal full-time (Less than a year)
You're given so many inventive tools to use to make decisions and problem solve.
There are lots of benefits: HR-wise like a wide range of medical plans, flexible vacation days, actually-competitive salaries... breakfast served in the office every morning, brilliant and caring coworkers, interesting projects and clients, great hardware.
Management truly does care what you think and will ask for your opinion in surveys and office retrospectives often.
You'll definitely find an actual work-life balance here, because you DO NOT work after 5:30pm.
We just got our brand new office in Ponce City Market - can't beat that location!
There are pretty strict working hours, and almost no WFH allowed, but management is pretty understanding about "life happens" type moments. To succeed you must be a people-person, since most roles are pairing nearly every day.
Advice to Management
I think we're striking a good balance of adapting Pivotal culture from other offices and creating our own. I'd love to see more Atlanta-is-awesome events out of the office.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Pivotal (Atlanta, GA) in April 2017.
The process was generally very organized and straightforward. They made an effort to make me feel welcomed by inviting me to their daily breakfast, which gave me the opportunity to warm up to potential future coworkers. The interview itself was casual, and the interviewer provided thoughtful answers to my questions. The only part that was unpleasant was after the in-person interview, I went on a phone interview with their recruiter, who assured me he'd schedule a technical interview soon. Even after a thank you email and several follow-ups, I never received a reply. More than 6 months later, I received an email informing me that the position had been filled.
