    Pros

-Very kind and professional staff (Lovely people)
-Great communication even while working remotely
    -Cool projects
    -On time payment

    Cons

-Weekly based hiring, very short notices before they hire you
-Sometimes delayed reviews on daily tasks, which can be stresful when working remote on crunch.
-Short turnaround times on complicated tasks towards the end of project.

    Advice to Management

Would be much less stressful for the artists if they could hire for longer times from the beginning of the projects, but overall GREAT COMPANY to work with.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Psyop (New York, NY) in October 2012.

    Interview

Based on my freelance work, they evaluated me for a staff position negotiating salary and future paths. After asking my salary expectations and offering me a low salary, I counter offered with success and got a more agreeable salary. They responded very promptly after I had asked for a counter offer, and were gracious and open about trying to help meet my asks. Eventually I was able to negotiate for a raise less than a year later after excellent work.
