- Senior Management
I worked at PwC (More than 8 years)
Pros
Great place to learn. Working with some of the smartest people from all over the world. PwC has a strong benefit plan. Although they work their employees "hard" they is also a reward for it.
Cons
It's extremely political, it's a partnership structure, a little different than a corporate structure. The culture is militant based. The internal firm services employee base doesn't get treated equally: internal vs. client facing, internal vs. internal (politically connected). The organization goes to great length and spends significant resources, time and money, on the review process, to keep it impartial. In that area the firm fails miserably.
Advice to Management
Although overall the firm continues to prosper, it values technology and the younger generation. I think it should also show the same appreciation for the employees that are a little more tenured and have a solid knowledge base.
