I have been working at Raven Software full-time (More than 10 years)
Teams feel like a family, still can have a small studio feel even on big projects.
Everyone talks to everyone, no harsh divisions between departments or management and teams.
Tons of talented, creative people passionate about their work.
Emphasis on work/life balance.
Extremely low turnover. Some people have been here over 20 years. Someplace you can have a full career.
Some excellent people in upper management.
Because of low turnover, this is not someplace you try to climb your way to the top at.
Communication and transparency sometimes isn’t the best.
Activision needs to trust Raven to lead more projects.
Some very negative people can bring a team down.
Advice to Management
Work on communication and transparency.
Watch out for negative people.
Keep pushing Activision to give Raven a big project of their own.

I applied online. I interviewed at Raven Software (Madison, WI) in March 2021.
I was interviewed by three leads from the studio in the department that was looking to hire. Unfortunately they seemed to be having a bad day. They had me lead the entire presentation of my portfolio with no questions about it. They only asked me very generic interview questions. They didn't know what position I was applying for and asked me what it was halfway through the interview. They stopped the interview with half the time remaining from what was scheduled.
