I have been working at Rubicon Project full-time (More than a year)
As everyone notes, benefits are on the very high end, free food, phone, healthcare, gym - unlimited vacation. The culture has always been great, fun and fast paced, but took a hit along w/the business in '16 with some poor leadership choices. The company is much faster and leaner after the changes, and the new leadership, starting from the CEO and CTO are amazing. The culture and business are bouncing back fast. Feels like a startup again.
This is a hyper competitive industry ruled by a couple $500B. It is not for the weary, pack your competitive spirit.
Advice to Management
Move fast, execute, have fun, and take no prisoners.
I applied online. I interviewed at Rubicon Project (Los Angeles, CA) in August 2020.
The interview process was very smooth and enjoyable. The interviewers seemed to make a comfortable setting where I could talk about my experience and thoughts without being too nervous. There were no issues in communication, and the whole process was a stress-free experience. I truly appreciate this company for bestowing this kind of experience!
