I have been working at Service Corporation International full-time (More than a year)
The ability to make a great income if you follow what you learn in training and the advise of your manager.
100% commission role. You are thrown to the wolves on day 1 after training. It's a sink or swim situation and you are mainly investing in yourself (literally - there is very little in the way of marketing props for you to use, most pre-planners set themselves up with event props. Average number of sales people for this one facility - 300+ and growing. So with so many, it is not in the company's best interest to provide equipment to the sales staff (tables and branded table clothes, iPads for everything from making a presentation to writing up a contract, flyers, no-call marketing lists; clothing; to name a few ...).
Advice to Management
Desperately need better benefits and perks for YOUR salespeople. Expenses are paid but no one tells you this; the company should provide the iPads to active salespeople.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Service Corporation International (Whittier, CA) in June 2019.
Very professional and smooth. The recruiter was knowledgeable and communicated the job description well in my initial interview, however he did not mention the dress code until after my hire. The following interview with the Sales Manager who would be shadowing me, was also very informative. All in all, a very comfortable process.
