SpotOn San Rafael, CA isn't hiring right now. Check out all SpotOn jobs
I have been working at SpotOn full-time (Less than a year)
At the time 2012-2013 my job was to assist,setup/program tablets & ship all the packaging for all the new customer orders plus process returns. Overall great
mix of people-very diverse, job duties/task were very easy to meet, good atmosphere, complimentary snacks twice a day, relaxed casual dress code, awesome view from the glass house suite everyday and next to water (very inspirational), any/every holiday was celebrated and enjoyed despite being at work, HR & upper management (the twins) usually on site daily and was always pleasant & upbeat, gave me a chance to assist/work in different roles/dept often which was nice change, off on weekends & no overtime unless asked/wanted.
-Not the jobs fault but just getting there/commuting either direction from 580 or 101 traffic was very bad everyday and will wear you down before & after work.
-Pay however my task were simple
-Benefits were very $$$$
Advice to Management
A notice of possible staff reductions would have be a nice heads up instead of my position being suddenly eliminated.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SpotOn (San Rafael, CA) in August 2012.
Hiring process is basic. Start out as a Business consultant on commission only, which is technically a account executive who sells but the exception is that you now have to act as customer service and tech support too. Once you can prove that you can produce above quota and maintain a high retention rate, the CEOs will authorize a salary.
There isn't much of a negotiation phase until you produce volume. The bonuses pay well if the salesperson markets to chain stores.
