Suddenlink Communications Parkersburg, WV isn't hiring right now. Check out all Suddenlink Communications jobs
I have been working at Suddenlink Communications full-time (Less than a year)
I love working at Suddenlink. When I applied, I didn't think I would get the job... I was 7 months pregnant. They gave me 2 months First Year Medical Leave. When I returned, I was welcomed back and they made sure I was ready to hit the floor on my own, even asking if I would like to shadow someone else for a few days. Most of the supervisors are fantastic and are willing to help with anything you may need. There are online courses you are encouraged to take to improve your skills and knowledge, which I did. Within 9 months, I was offered a position on the Escalation team, dealing with challenging customers and answering agents questions. They seem to really value your family time, even offering shift differential if your shift begins after 11 or if you work both days of the weekend. You also begin earning vacation and sick time as soon as you start, have sufficient training, and upper management is also very friendly. In addition, you get free cable and internet, which is a $300 value. I think that overall, you get out of the position what you put into it.
As with any customer service position, there are always customers you can't make happy. There is a bit of frustration when it comes to appointment scheduling, but overall, it's still a great place to work.
Advice to Management
Keep up the great work!

I applied online. I interviewed at Suddenlink Communications (Parkersburg, WV) in November 2015.
They asked some questions about what I would do if I was in certain situations, script reading. asked me some personality questions to see how I would act as a customer service representative.
