I worked at Sutter Health as an intern (More than a year)
Very friendly and comfortable atmosphere
Director and manager were very nurturing, approachable, open to questions
Rest of the team was very together and ate meals and hung out together
Fostered team spirit
Good free food and snacks with other options close by
I could have been given more work by my superiors. I did learn a lot and met great people, but felt like I could have had a little more hands-on experience
Advice to Management
Don't be afraid to pile more work on your interns. That's what we're here for!

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sutter Health (Emeryville, CA) in October 2016.
Phone interview then two group interviews. First group interview met entire group in local office. Very impressed with local management in group - very professional and liked her management style - would have enjoyed working for her. Rest of the group were all fairly new employees. Very disappointed with lack of professionalism of paralegal. Very disappointed with top management from SF. Very disappointed no one spoke up to improper interview question. At last interview, very very apparent why the position was open.
