I worked at Texas Water Development Board full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I worked in the Support Services Division. It was a great place to work.
Friendly staff and it was easy to collaborate to get things done.

    Cons

Management was fine. It did seem like I had 3 managers in 5 years though.

    Advice to Management

I think the new management is better than it was.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Texas Water Development Board (Austin, TX) in September 2019.

    Interview

The main issue was the waiting period and the lack of communication. It took six weeks for them to make a decision about the status of the position. I received one email from them during this period. It’s a government agency, so don’t expect much in the way of transparency.
